Dodge Sprinter 3500 might've had similarities to a minibus, but it was actually a line of passenger and cargo vans. It came out in 2003. Its first generation replaced the 1970s Dodge Ram van, which had just gone out of production. Originally Freightliner-branded, the van was high-roof-only. It also had a sibling, Dodge Sprinter 2500, in another weight class. The second generation released in 2007. It offered two wheelbase options, three overall length options, and a choice of either extra-wide super-single wheels or dual rear wheels. The lineup ran with Dodge until 2009, when Ram ProMaster replaced it.
