Dodge Neon was a compact car that came out in 1995, based on a 1991 concept car. In 2001, during its second generation, which began in 2000, was when the sedan took off, however. The model was offered in a variety of trims. Highline and Motorsports Edition were available in 2001. ES, ACR, and S were offered until 2002. R/T was available from 2001 to 2004. SXT was an option between 2002 and 2005. A high-performance SRT-4 variant ran between 2003 and 2005. The SE trim ran through 2005. That was the year Dodge discontinued its Neon lineup.
